I spent a lot of time today---all alone---looking at "social" sites. I think I am more traditional person-to-person social at this time, not yet "social network" social enough to be comfortable and time-efficient in using these. It's even taking me quite a bit of time to get this post to the blog...hmmm. I did like what I found at this link, however, and will share with you.

Hi Mary!
I agree with you. Social networkingis sometimes not all that social. I also feel somewhat uncomfortable with it. Younger people, like our students, are better at it! I should know, I have 3 children between the ages of 16 and 22!
I have a book club that enjoys blogging, and I don't feel uncomfortable with that, maybe because I know the kids and the subject so well.
